This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with translating buttons and custom links in a multilingual WordPress site using WPML. Specifically, the buttons on the French pages link to the English pages, and there are a few custom links in the main menu that are not translating to French.
Solution:
For the issue with the buttons linking to the wrong language pages, we recommend manually updating the URLs on each button to point to the correct language version. For translating custom links in the main menu, you can use the String Translation feature provided by WPML. Detailed guidance on how to translate menus can be found in our documentation: Translating Menus.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. We highly recommend opening a new support ticket if the problem persists. You can do so here: Contact WPML Support.

Thank you Kor. I was able to add the rest of the modules I'm using and get them translated. The only two things I'm still having trouble with now are:
1, The buttons on the French pages link to the English pages. Is there a way to make them all link to the French pages? Or will I need to change the urls manually on each button?

2, There are a few custom links in the main menu, and they are not translating to French. Do I need to recreate the menu in French in order for them to translate?

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply.

As explained here https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/#easy-customizable-wp-menus-sync , custom links can be translated using the string translation. Could you try?

Hi Kor, I have nearly all of the website translated. The only thing remaining is the contact popups in the top right corner. I did the translations for these, but they're not showing on the french side. Can you help me figure out why? Thanks
