This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client wanted to delete a translation in order to re-translate the page from scratch.
Solution:
Go to "Pages"
- Use the language selector in your top admin bar to switch to your secondary language
- Search for the page, trash it and empty the trash (or delete permanently)
- Once your translation is permanently deleted, you will be able to re-translate the page from scratch
