I've translated all pages and have been battling with the intricate aspects for a while. The translated pages don't show the footer on the original spanish page.It shows the footer that came with the theme. The header also didn't show at first but I was able to figure it out.
More importantly, the translated navigation menu on all pages doesn't have the dropdown menu I created on the original nav menu using elementskit. I'll attach a screenshot of the original and what I get on the translation pages.
I tried to enable the megamenu content for the translation menu all to no avail
Also, on some translated pages, the body overlaps with the header.
And several other bugs.
Is there any documentation that you are following?
I've followed all documentations and support threads opened about issues like this. Followed all steps, No avail

For the footer, can you please explain how did you create it in the default language and how are you assigning it to show in the default language?

it seems this is coming from a plugin called Elementor Header & Footer Builder.
Please follow the next steps to translate it:
- Go to WPML > Settings > the "Post Types Translation" section > and instead of "Not Translatable", you have to set the "Elementor Header & Footer Builder" to "Translatable".
After that, when you go header/footer, you should be able to see the + for translating the templates. Click to edit the default language header and from the sidebar select to use WordPress editor, duplicate the template edit it in 2nd language, and add the correct translation.
Like I said, It's from the theme's default footer builder.
I already fixed it.
Can we talk about the megamenu content I mentioned?
