Hello, I have a site which runs Page as Subdomain plugin and has 2 subdomains hidden link and their English version hidden link (Polish is the default language) I recently migrated from qTranslate-X to WPML and after the migration the Polish subdomains are working fine, but the English ones redirect to hidden link I tried to redirect them back in htaccess, but it created a redirection loop. Could you please tell me if there is a way to stop WPML from redirecting those URL-s: so that I can redirect them myself in opposite direction? |

Hello, as you mentioned I think the issue is with the page as a subdomain plugin, I do not see it on our compatible plugins, nor do I think it will work configuration that you mentioned. What I suggest is creating such configuration manually, for example: 1) Have a working website with WPML: - hidden link / hidden link 2) Create a redirect or configuration (Alias) via your domain/hosting setup, so that the next domain open the same website hidden link / hidden link Please let me know if this makes sense or if I have misunderstood something and your needs. Thank you for your reply. 🙂 I have already created aliases. I tried to set up redirects in htaccess, but I get a redirection loop. I've noticed that WPML automatically creates redirects for the second language (some of my old URL-s changed and got redirected automatically) Basically what I want to do is to disable WPML's redirections - is that possible? Hello, it is difficult for me to say since I am not sure if are you still using that mentioned plugin or have any other that might be causing issues with WPML. The only settings you can enable /disable for WPML are from WPML > Languages > How to handle languages without translation. Other than that there is no way to disable any redirects since they also affect from server side, and WP/WPML always tries to find a related URL and redirect it to that. Regards, |
