I am trying to export xliff files in versions 2.1 so I can translate them in Deepl, which supports only 2.1 versions.

Hello,

For now, this is not supported by WPML.

We have a feature request ticket and I will add your ticket there as well.

I will mark the ticket as "escalated to developers" status and once I have more news on this, or when this will be included in WPML, I will update you.

Until then please continue to work with only supported XLIFF versions.

Best,

Hello!

Deepl is a translation engine on our end, so you can give our automatic translation a chance to see if it works for you.

I'm saying this because we won't be able to implement XLIFF 2.0 or 2.1 in the foreseeable future since it requires a lot of changes on our end and that can't be done soon without compromising the stability of our plugin.

We will still keep it in mind and try to find a way to implement it in the future, though unless something prevents us from doing so.

Regards.
