Hi, I am working with wpml for the translation and I am facing an issue where I am able to translate the template into French language but when I click on the language switcher from English to French I can only see English translated template for the header, and footer.

I followed the documentation to translate the Elementor header and footer, I got the point that we have to translate the templates to see the translation for the header and footer. In templates, you can see the translation but in the front end, it's not appearing.

Another problem I am facing is that while automatically translating the website, titles, and buttons are not translating. (I am using Elementor)

I am attaching two pictures where you can see that after changing the language words are not translating.

Even when I am translating the template for the header, I can see a glitch in reloading the website in the header area only.

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with the first debugging steps or if I can help with the issue quickly.

I can see that you're using Elementor and some add-ons adding custom Elementor widgets such as Boostify Header Footer Builder.

You can translate the pages using those custom widgets either by:

1. Registering the custom widgets as explained on this page: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/how-to-register-page-builder-widgets-for-translation/ (you can ask your theme/plugin support to help with that to make their theme compatible with WPML).

or

2. Translate the header/footer and the pages using the custom Elementor widgets manually as explained here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/.

Could you please give that a try and let us know how it goes?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
