This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client translated an email title into Japanese using WPML's String Translation, but the email was still received with an English title. The client found multiple identical strings in the Admin Texts Translation section and was unsure which one to translate.
Solution:
We recommended that the client include numbers behind the translations to identify which specific string needs translation and then remove the translations for the strings that are not required. This method helps in distinguishing between multiple identical strings.

Background of the issue:
I translated a website with a default language of English into Japanese. I translated the email title into Japanese on the String translation (WPML->String translation). I selected Japanese in the language switcher and performed a password reset.

Symptoms:
The email had an English title instead of the translated Japanese title.

Questions:
How can I ensure that the email is received with a Japanese title?

Hi there,

Thanks for your patience. I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Sorry, I resolved the issue myself.

When I tried again, I found the same word in the Admin Texts Translation section, and translating it made the email subject appear in Japanese.

There are many identical words, and I'm not sure which one to translate.
Is there a way to distinguish them?

For example, in the case of "Password Reset Request," three identical strings were found, and the correct one was admin_texts_wprentals_admin.

thanks for your reply.

Maybe you can include some numbers behind the translation to identify which one you need? Then, remove the translation for the others that are not required.
