Hello There, I understand the issue you're having and will try my best to assist you in this matter. The problem you're encountering often happens due to using emojis or similar special characters in your content, which might not be supported by your database's character encoding. Since this issue is linked to the text "Sofortüberweisung" in one of the WooCommerce Payment gateways, I recommend editing the text and replacing the Umlaut character (ü) with English 'U'. Once you've made this change and saved it, please try the translation again. This adjustment should help address the issue. If you're still having the issue, please try the solution mentioned in the following ticket. - https://wpml.org/forums/topic/database-error-cant-perform-query/ Regarding the question about using Classic Translation Editor - If you go to "WPML > Settings", under "Translation Editor" you should see the option to change the editor to "Classic Translation Editor". If the option appears disabled, the Automatic Translation might be enabled on your site. Please change the "Translation Mode" to "Translate What you Choose" from WPML Settings and check again. Let me know if that helps or if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help. Best regards, |

Hi There, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a closser look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. You will find the needed fields below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it. Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you. IMPORTANT Looking forward to your response. Best Regards, |

Hi There, The error notice that appears on the backend about translating the Strings is solved now. It happens due to some issues in the Database table. I removed the 'wpml_notices' key from the `_options` table which effectively solves the issue. Please check the ticket below to get a brief understanding of what I've done. - https://wpml.org/forums/topic/invalid-data-in-the-database/#post-10838029 Adding translation using Classic Translation Editor - I opened the Homepage in the default Editor and found that all the translations were in the 'in-progress' state. When I clicked the gear icon(hidden link) to see the translation editor, I found that the classic translation editor was loaded correctly. Please check this screenshot: hidden link If the Classic Translation editor is selected in the backend, then it is not required to select any button or option at the time of adding translation. The Editor should be loaded correctly. If the correct editor is still not loading, please clear the caches from your site and browser then check again. I hope it will help. Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help. Best regards, |

Hi, I understand what you're looking for. It seems the Translated pages were created manually first and later they were connected with the default page using the "Connect with translations" feature, as mentioned in this guide: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-link-already-translated-pages/ Which is why, the button to switch to the WordPress editor wasn't showing. I disconnected the English translation and now, the buttons are showing correctly. Please check this screenshot: hidden link You can now add translation using the WordPress Editor. As I have disconnected the English translation, please retranslate the default page into English. Let me know if that helps or if there is anything else you need help with. I will be happy to assist. Best regards, |

Hi There, I canceled all the in-progress jobs from "WPML > Translation Management > Jobs" and now you can manually translate the Homepage into Dutch and other languages. Here is how you can cancel the in-progress jobs on your own: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/#how-to-cancel-translation-jobs Let me know if there is anything else you need help with. I'll be happy to assist. Best regards, |

Hi There, Since the default language of your site is set to German, that's the version I initially saw upon visiting. However, upon switching to Dutch (Nederlands), I noticed the Dutch version of the homepage with Dutch contents loads properly without any problems. For a clearer picture, please refer to this video: hidden link Could you elaborate on the specific issue you're encountering with the Dutch version? If you can create a video illustrating the problem or some screenshots detailing the issue and share in your next response, it would greatly help in comprehending the situation and providing targeted support. Looking forward to your response. Best regards, |
