While one of my teammates takes care of your ticket, I will provide you with the first debugging steps.

Could you please update your WPML plugin to the latest version 4.6.5 and add-ons to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements? This may not necessarily resolve your problem, however, in order to troubleshoot the issue best we need to work on the latest code available.

You can check the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions to update can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/

Please remember to backup your database first before you proceed! You can use a plugin for this if you like (example: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/)

Let us know if the issue persists after an update has been done.

Hello,

We are currently running WPML Multilingual CMS 4.6.6.

You can find the updates at Plugins > Add new > Commercial > Search for WPML Updates. There should be updates for WPML Multilingual CMS and String Translation available.

Take note, that a 200 code is not a failure - it means that the GET request was successful.

The error is here the POST request right under this entry, which relates to a CRON job.

What makes you think that this problem is caused by WPML?

Best regards
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Thank you for your response.

This morning when logged in to our site we noticed the debug error notice wasn't there anymore.

Astoundingly and in conjunction with this, everything related to WMPL disappeared or was reset and there is a new notice that WPML needs to be configured which is probably the reason for this.

Can you please let me know what was done since not only did we lose the WMPL configuration and settings, but we also lost everything that this implies?

Such as all ongoing translation work, the menu language switcher on our live site header and obviously the language navigation options on WP, pages and products.

We updated today to WPML Multilingual CMS 4.6.6 as suggested.

Thank you for your assistance in this urgent matter.

Luc

Hello Luc,

This sounds to me as if someone ran a WPML reset on the site.

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/deleting-languages-and-plugin-data-by-doing-a-wpml-reset-on-your-site/

Please take kindly note, that I did not access your site for more than 5 days and there was not any access information provided on this ticket.

The last time I visited your site was on this ticket when updating our plugins solved the reported issues:

https://wpml.org/forums/topic/multiples-problems-to-be-resolved/page/2/

I suggest you recover the site by using a backup if available, as a WPML reset can sadly not be undone.

Best regards
Andreas
