George Botsev WPML Supporter since 02/2014 Languages: English (English ) Timezone: Europe/Sofia (GMT+03:00)	Hello and thank you for contacting us. The error that you have encountered seems to be related to another plugin of yours - External Importer. I am unfamiliar with that plugin, but I would suggest temporarily disabling that plugin and testing again if WPML String Translation is working. If this is a premium plugin, I'd suggest that you drop a line to the plugin author, because it might not have been configured for multilingual use properly.

What is result if you temporary deactivate all the plugins except WPML and then try to activate WPML String Translation? Could you first please update your WPML plugin to the latest version 4.6.6 and add-ons to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements? This may not necessarily resolve your problem, however, in order to troubleshoot the issue best we need to work on the latest code available. You can check the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions to update can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/ Please remember to backup your database first before you proceed! You can use a plugin for this if you like (example: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/) Let me know if the issue persists after the tests and an update has been done.
