Feature Request for Formatting Markers

Problem:
You are trying to translate dates with day suffixes like 'st', 'nd', 'rd', and 'th' in languages such as English and German, where these suffixes are superscript. However, when translating to languages like French, Turkish, and Swedish, which do not use these suffixes, the translation editor still requires you to select and mark this markup, even though it's not used in the target language.
Solution:
We are aware of the issue where the translation editor forces the selection of text for formatting in languages that do not use day suffix superscripts. This feature request is currently under development. I would like the option to skip these formatting markers if the target language does not use them. gunalO	Many thanks, first of all, for the prompt reply. Our issue is based on the ground of content to be translated - not the software. What we do is: 1. We have an original text to be published (which may include dates with days provided with st,nd,rd,... suffixes which are superscript) 2. We translate it to other languages. 3. While translating, the UI of WPML (e.ate.wpml.org) forces us to select formatting markups for superscripts, whereas the target language to which we translate does not use such suffixes for days. For example; English language uses days as January 1st (st is superscripted) but French language does not use them. Also, french translation may translate the date as 'premier janvier' which does not use superscript. Also, in English language the centuries are also market with 'th' suffix superscript. But in german language, we do not use those. Our issue is caused by the UI which forces us to select formatting markers on the translations, to select/mark the same part of the text to be superscripted. But on the translation, there is no text to be superscripted. In this case, we cannot save and proceed with the rest of the translation. Our request is to have a feature to SKIP formatting markers and to be able to save our translations. Many thanks...
