Hello,
Thank you for the updates. Glad to know you are getting the expected results now.
In a WordPress Multisite (Network) environment, when you configure WPML, it creates separate database tables for each subsite. These tables are essential for managing translations independently per site.
Therefore, please ensure that WPML is properly configured for each of your subsites. All WPML-related tables will have the prefix "_icl_" (like _icl_strings, _icl_translations, etc.).
Refer to the following documentation for more details about WPML tables:
https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-tables/

Hi. I'm removing WPML completely from the network. Given the database tables are still there, my question wasn't about configuring WPML but about removing the leftover database tables. Previously when I did remove them, before we got this sorted out, and it required a revert to a saved backup because the website got a bit messed up. I'm going to remove the tables from the staging site and will let you know how it goes.

Hello,
Thank you for the updates. Since we have already reset WPML on the staging site, it should be safe to remove the WPML-related database tables. Please go ahead and delete them after taking a full site backup, and let us know your feedback.
