Function by change of langauge

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where the property detail page does not automatically switch to Danish when accessed from the Danish gallery on their website. It defaults to English unless the URL is manually adjusted to include '/da/'.
Solution:
We recommended performing a full backup and provided assistance in checking the configuration by accessing the website's backend. We also suggested deactivating third-party plugins to isolate the issue. However, due to the complexity and the client's decision to not proceed with further troubleshooting at this time, the issue remains unresolved. The client has decided to leave the setup as it is for now and may revisit the problem in the future.

mikaelH-17	Hi. It is the pluging for publishing the properties from the database Resales-Online. You have like the database and you display the properties from the database - you can narrow down the search by adding town, etc to the search criteria but you always get this look : hidden link Then you select the image ( property ) you like and then it change to the detailed page for the property. I recently made converted my site to the Houzez theme but made a copy of the old hidden link You are allowed to login with admin /Mikael2345 then you can see it is working. Thats why I dont understand why my new site is not working as it is configured the same way. One difference is that I did not do all the translation on the old but it changes so the danish version stays the danish version if I select the detailed Hope this helps you. As the hidden link is only for test and history you can play with it as muchs as you like - it not production any more 🙂

[roh_c_f_menu_sliders2 filtr_id="23896" /] May I know how to edit this shortcode so that it only displays properties in the Danish Language?

mikaelH-17	The shortcode will not be edit All is done in the string translation of wpml. The issue is also that when you are on this page : hidden link The shortcode is only the one that maks the property filter and the images of the properties. The tekst below that is in Danish and that is as expected - so the page is in danish or some other langauge - the master is always the english version The problem is that selecting an property makes it change to property details and this works fine on the english version hidden link But If I was on the danish version or one of the other langauge and selected an image it change to english on the detailed page even that the page is translated to the right langauge. When I then manually add the da/de/nl/pl just after the domain name it shows the right page - it is like wpml dont see the right page and the just take the default

I've reviewed everything again and I believe I now understand how it's set up. It looks like you're using a template for the property details page here: hidden link, which is populated using the [wii_props_details /] shortcode. On the archive page hidden link, you’ve used the shortcode [roh_c_f_menu_sliders2 filtr_id="6694" price_min="150000" price_max="100000000" price_step="10000"/]. My question now is—how are these shortcodes created or configured? I’d like to understand how they work on your end. If that's unclear, the best approach would be to replicate the issue on a sandbox site that I can set up for you. From there, we can investigate the problem more thoroughly.

mikaelH-17	Hi You still have access to the backend. Please login and go to this hidden link There you have the explanation but I think the page you must read is the shortcode page. As I mentioned earlier on my old website the setup is the same and it works - I did send you the login information to the old side also I tried for long time to solve this by myself can not see why it dont work.

I see you previously reported the issue here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/wiidoo-resales-wp-plugin-premium-language-switcher-issue/page/2/ , but no solution was found. I’ll escalate this to our compatibility team. First, could you reproduce the problem on the sandbox site I set up for you? Here’s the link: hidden link Please install the required plugins and theme there and replicate the issue. Once you’ve done that, I’ll pass everything to our 2nd-tier support so they can investigate and provide a solution.

mikaelH-17	OK it is late here in Spain. I try to find time tomorrow to do it then I let you know when it is done. We might be facing a problem with the widoo plugin as it need run on an IP accepted by the Resales-Online system. To be prepared please let me know the IP of the system it will be installed on

mikaelH-17	Hi I have now created a new site with demo content. Translate some text to danish on the homepage =hjemmeside ( not working on the language flag) 2 pages with the plugin Resales-properties and property details Just a litle text below the shortcode for the plugin. Looks like the url is changing to danish / german but text stays in english. I am not able to get the properties in as I need to get the IP aproved from resales-online to do it.

mikaelH-17	Hi - yes. Resales only work with aproved IP adresses - they are welcome to worn on the staging site. The hosting runs backup every day and I dont use it much any more so please do what you need to do. I have also tried to contact the developer of the plugin as we had the same issue 2 years ago but somehow it was solved - this time all strings is translated so I dont see the problem I have attached the answer from the developer 2 years ago.

In the meantime, I checked the shortcode in the API settings here: hidden link and I could not find any option to filter the properties by language. Could you check with the developers to confirm whether this is possible? I also reviewed the string translations at hidden link , but I did not see any way to translate the listings generated from your Resales-Online server.

mikaelH-17	Hi Just download the images to you pc then you can see them correctly - in this box system it will not be able to read. Remember the old instalation plexopropertieslakun... is the old one but even that I didnt translate all the strinks it was working. Sorry but I dont thing I am able to support more than I have done now - I dont know what else information you need. I only know that it looks like the wpml dont change the langauge but adding the "da" or "nl" to the url make it work. Hope you can solve it soon.

Could you please point me to a specific listing where the filter behaves as expected?

mikaelH-17	Sorry but this is to complicated for me and needs to much action from my side. I have decided to skip this property filter shortly in the future and for now properties is published and property details is published so it it not optimal but works. The test side needs also to get the right IP adresses to show the properties correctly as it is not the same IP as on Plexoproperties.com Property-hive has a connector to resales and that schould work but I have not purchased this yet. Even we have spend a lot of time on this I dont whant to spend more time - I like just to leave it as it is.
