[Closed] How change amount and currency back to default on woocommerce checkout page?

WooCommerce Multilingual allows you to choose which currency to charge customers and receive payments in for each payment gateway.

For example, you can set up your shop so that:

-Your customers can shop in pounds sterling (GBP) and select to pay with Stripe
- You will receive the payment from Stripe in euro (EUR)
- When you choose to receive payment in a different currency than the one your client is using, they will see their total amount in the converted currency during checkout.

I will be helping you with your issue.

1. You mentioned that you will be using "Payment Plugins for Stripe Woocommerce".
Question: Have you already installed this on your site with WPML CMS and WCML? Is that where your screenshot is coming from?

2. "Payment plugins for stripe woocommerce" does not yet appear as tested compatible with our WPML/WCML solution.

In this case, my suggestion is that you might need to do some custom snippet to change the default country something like this:

But this is not within the scope of our support - it's something that you would do with Woocommerce.

Have I understood the issue?
If not, please give a simple use case to help me understand what your ideal solution would look like.

2. To charge a client in a different currency, we have the feature that was previously mentioned by my colleague: Setting Up Payment Gateways For Each Currency

You mentioned that this did not give you the option to add any credit cards, which leads me to think that the real issue is that your plugin is not compatible with WPML/WCML

If you used the Woocommerce Payments plugin, would you have a solution that you needed?
Have you tried it out?

3. The example of the snippet I sent you is more to let you see that you have coding options with Woo API or our own WCML API that is beyond the scope of the Support Forum support.

Here is an example of an custom code implementation approach that I found. You would need to consult a WPML Contractor to adapt a similar approach for your own needs incorporating our own hooks.
