I've never deactivated or deleted a language on my site, and I haven't updated the content for some time. But today I found that two of the languages look deactivated. How can I get them back and what happened to my site? Thanks.

Hello,

Before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.

You can go to WPML->Languages and click on Add languages, add those deactivated languages, it should be active once you save it.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks

The current languages that the error message says are deactivated are in the language list. I've never deactivated them. I've tried adding those languages and it shows the language exists. Thanks.

Hi There,
I hope you're doing well.

From the screenshots, I noticed that the Chinese (Simplified) and Chinese (Traditional) languages, which are predefined in WPML, are currently deactivated. The languages you are seeing in the language editor section,('Simplified Chinese' and 'Traditional Chinese'), are custom languages. Their locales are currently set to Mainland China and Taiwan, respectively. Please check this screenshot for a better understanding: hidden link

Now, In order to reactivate the languages, please click on the "Add/Remove Language" button, select 'Chinese (Simplified)' and 'Chinese (Traditional)' from the list, and click on Save. The contents in those languages will appear again on your site.

Let me know if that helps or need further assistance or clarification in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
