This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are unable to translate certain strings in WPML because they are locked and detected as 'numeric' instead of 'text'. These strings are related to WooCommerce email settings for subscription manual renewal reminders.
Solution:
The strings are locked because they are pre-configured to always be available for translation within WPML's String Translation. If these strings are showing as 'numeric' and have no value, it is likely because they are empty in the WooCommerce email settings. To resolve this, you need to fill in the subject and heading fields in the WooCommerce settings at WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > Subscription Manual Renewal Reminder. Once these fields are populated, the strings will appear as 'text' in the 'Translate texts in admin screens' and will be available for translation in WPML -> String Translation.

Background of the issue:
I would like to translate strings but WPML won’t let me do it because they are locked. The strings must be like type 'text' and not 'numeric'.

In particular these:
[woocommerce_asp_erws_customer_subscription_manual_renewal_reminder_settings]subject

Symptoms:

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with the first debugging steps and try to help with the issue quickly.

As I can see in your image, it says it is registered and locked, which means it is already added for translation, and this rule is set by a plugin, as part of WPML compatibility.

So, simply you should go to WPML > String translation and search for that string and translate.

Thank you for sharing that access.

I checked it and the reason those fields are locked is that they're pre-configured to always be available for translation within String Translation. In other words, it is not that you can't add them to the string translation, they're locked so they're always available.

Moreover, they're detected as numeric and showing no value, because they're empty inside the WooCommerce email settings here(WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > Subscription Manual Renewal Reminder):

As a test, I temporarily added a subject to the renewal reminder email. After doing it, the string showed as 'text' in the 'Translate texts in admin screens' and was available for translation inside WPML -> String Translation, please check the screenshots. I reverted the subject to the previous state.

In summary, once you fill up hidden link">the information here, you'll be able to translate those items hidden link">inside the String Translation screen.
