Hey there,

So I've updated some content on a page - for instance a few logos on the English version of the page with Elementor. Now I have to manually go and update the logos on the Macedonian page, is there a way around this please? I don't want the client to have to go through the process for like 2 times.

Thanks so much.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with the first debugging steps and try to help with the issue quickly.

You can add different images for different languages via WPML > Media translation, please check next guide:

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/media-translation/

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Drazen

So all these settings were ticked off before. I've unticked them now - should that solve my issue?

Hello There,
I hope you're doing well.

I've taken over this ticket and would be happy to assist you further.

Please note that unchecking those options will not resolve the issue in this case. If the images do not appear in the translated versions, it's possible that these options(hidden link) were unchecked when you began adding translations. However, since you already have translated pages/posts, you can follow these steps:

- Navigate to WPML > Settings and scroll down to the "Media Translation" section.
- Ensure that all options within this section are checked, then click on "Apply."
- Next, click on the "Start ⨠" button to initiate the copying of media images to the translations.

These steps typically resolve issues with missing images in translations. But, if the issue persists even after that you may need to update the translation, but not manually. Here's what you can do:

- Open the default post in the WordPress editor.
- Make a small change in the title or anywhere else.
- Ensure that these options(hidden link) are selected under the language meta section.
- Then proceed to update the translation using the WPML Translation editor. The image added to the post should be copied to the translation after that.

Let me know if the steps above help or if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
