Hello WPML Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

Our website is using the WPML plugin to create multilingual versions. Currently, we have several languages enabled, including Arabic. The Arabic version of our site is located under the following structure:

hidden link

However, we have decided that we will not target the Arabic market anymore, and we would like to completely remove the Arabic language from our website.

Before doing this, we want to make sure the process is done correctly and will not negatively affect our website’s stability, SEO, or WPML functionality.

Could you please advise on the best and safest way to do the following:

Disable and remove the Arabic language from WPML.
Remove all Arabic pages and URLs ( /ar/ ).
Ensure the site structure and other languages continue to work normally.
Avoid broken links, errors, or database issues after removing the language.
If possible, redirect Arabic URLs to the default language (English).

Our website is:

Please let us know the recommended steps or documentation we should follow.

Thank you very much for your support.

Best regards,
Adam Li
