[Resolved] How to translate the messages that everest forms show when filling a form?
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are trying to translate the messages and preview in Everest Forms on your website, but they do not appear in the items to translate. Solution: We recommend navigating to WPML => String Translation. Once there, search for the text that is missing translation, such as "Last Name". If you find the string that belongs to Everest Forms, ensure you translate it. If you are unable to locate the missing strings in String Translation, or if this solution does not seem relevant to your issue, please open a new support ticket with us for further assistance.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Tell us what you are trying to do? I have Everest Forms in my website including the preview of the information so the customer can validate it before submitting. The fields have been translated but not the messages or the preview since they don't appear in the items to translate.
Is there any documentation that you are following?
I was following the documente in the Everest Forms website on how to translate the forms.
Is there a similar example that we can see?
No that i know
What is the link to your site?
Hooponopono.uno
Can you please tell me what exactly the things are not get translated. Maybe you can share few screenshots so I will be able to know what are those strings that you are looking to translate.
What if you navigate to WPML => String Translation
Try to search for the text that is missing translation, for instance, "Last Name", try to search for the Last Name on String Translation page and see if you able to locate the string that belongs to this plugin and make sure you translate it.
Are you able to locate those missing strings at String Translation and translate it?
I searched for "last name" in all domains and one was missing, I translated it but nothing changed in the preview, still all in English. And I cannot find the string to translate the message that appears on top either.
Here is a sandbox site and you can auto-login to it using the following link:

Can you please try to setup the same form like you have and send me like where I can access or what steps I will have to follow to see the form preview. Also setup form on frontend and tell me where I can see the Thank you message on frontend.
I'm sorry, I cannot setup a form like the one I have on my site since it requires premium features that are no available in the sandbox site. The preview is created in a multi-step form and allows you to see the information you entered in the previous part.
For further investigation, I will require access details (wp-admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test/staging site where the problem has been replicated if possible.
Before sharing access details:
***We always recommend to take full backup of your site (Files and Databse)***
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you enter is private which means only you and I have access to it. Here is a screenshot of private reply where you should fill the private fields:
