[Resolved] Hreflang

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client has a multilingual website and is concerned about not receiving much traffic from English-speaking countries. They are considering the use of Hreflang tags to improve their SEO but are unsure if this is the right approach.
Solution:
We explained that while we are not SEO specialists and cannot provide specific SEO advice, it is recommended to consult with an SEO specialist who can review the site and its goals comprehensively. We also mentioned that WPML is not an SEO plugin, but we do offer a WPML SEO plugin that helps other SEO plugins work effectively on multilingual sites. Hi,

I have a multilingual website (Portuguese and English). The problem has always been not getting many traffic from countries like the United States, England, Canada, or Australia. Do you think I should use Hreflang? I have pt-pt in my links in the Portuguese version, but nothing in the English section. Can you help me?

WPML is not an SEO plugin per se, and we are not SEO specialists, so we are not able to advise on SEO strategy or whether hreflang setup would improve traffic for your website. For that, we recommend consulting an SEO specialist who can review your site and goals in detail.

We have the WPML SEO plugin, but it's just an add-on to make other exisiting plugins work on multilingual websites.
