I have a problem with hreflang.

I have 3 languages on my site, but not all articles can be translated.

The problem is that hreflang sets the language name correctly, but the language prefix in the href does not change.

I apologize if the question is elementary or not clear, I have not been working with WPML for a long time

Hi there,

I'd appreciate it if you could provide the result of the update and if it fixed the hreflang issue or not.

If not, would you please test for a minimal installation and see if the issue happens there?

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except WPML and its add-ons.
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.

Thanks.
