When editing translated versions of this post - hidden link - (e.g. the French version, which is hidden link) the links in the yellow "You can" box revert from their edited versions to English versions if the translation is updated via ATE.

In English, the links are as follows:

Find a crisis helpline near you using our centre finder (hidden link)

Learn more about suicidal feelings (hidden link)

---

On the French version, they were originally (and should be):
Find a crisis helpline near you using our centre finder (hidden link)

Learn more about suicidal feelings (hidden link)

---

However, they have reverted to the English version. How do we ensure these remain the same even if the translated text is updated?

Thanks.

Hi Greg,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I'd be happy to help you with this issue.

There is a server protection account that prevents accessing your site directly so I cannot check the URL on your site. Can you please let me know how you input and output the URL on the post? Please share some screenshots of this.
Do you use a custom code in a child theme to output the ACF field value? If yes, you can set the URL field preference to "Translate" in WPML > Settings > Custom Fields Translation.
When translating the post in ATE, you can search for the keyword "http" and translate the URL.

Refer documentation
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-fields/
https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-urls-shortcodes-and-html-attributes-using-the-advanced-translation-editor/

Look forward to your reply.
Thanks
