Background of the issue:
I'm trying to translate texts from a plug-in called apimo on my website hidden link using WPML.
Symptoms:
All the translations have been made, but the modules now don't appear in the other languages, only in English.
Questions:
Why are the translated modules not appearing in other languages?
How can I ensure that the apimo plugin modules are translated correctly using WPML?
While you wait for my colleague to take over the ticket, let me try to help you with the issue quickly.
Can you explain what does this plugin do and what part you wish to translate? As I can see from what I could have found, it connect to 3rd party website called APIMO?
I need help, because I'm getting no answer from the support of the plug-in apimo.
The plug-in doesn't appear in the translated pages. Is that a consequence of a bad config of WPML?
Can you enter my website and see if the config of your plug-in is correctly made?
What kind of authorisation do you need?
I am not sure why it does not appear, if content is being loaded from 3rd party server, or plugin is not compatible with WPML translation, which could be possible.
I can take a look to see what is wrong and if anything we can do to make it translatable, but please note we can not guarantee it for not compatible plugins and we recommend using WPML officially compatible plugin.
Please share admin access to your website and what text you wish to translate and URL where it appears.
Can you explain what is type="featured_home" and how is this being added to default language? Make sure translated properties have same translated type or select properties by some some other category / tag.
Hi,
thank you for your feedback.
It works from their plug-in, we choose a configuration of data, the app gives us some code, and we put it in a module on our website.

We appreciate your help resolving this issue.
thanks for getting back, but I am afraid maybe you have not understood my reply.
Your short code is showing properties that have type featured_home. I am not sure what this is, nor how do you set this type for your default language properties. If you can show me where this appears / is created in WordPress I can check also for translated properties.
Otherwise, best I can advise is that you create new taxonomy and translate it , assign that taxonomy to your properties, re-translate property. Make sure both language property have that taxonomy assigned.
Then create new APIMO short code that shows that taxonomy properties and add it to your page and translate/edit the page and make sure to use short code that shows also translated taxonomy properties.
Thank you for your feedback, unfortunately I don't know how to create the taxonomy and then where to put it. Is it possible that you help me with that? Like a walkthrough that I can follow.
Thanks in advance
Bruno Guerra
I tried my suggestion and different approached, but unfortunately it does not work. Seems APIMO short code does not fetch translated properties at all. I am afraid there is not much we can do here, you should try to get in contact with plugin author to further help and if they need our help they can join our GO Global program and we can work together on compatibility, we would be glad to collaborate.
