This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is unable to transfer credits to their website from their WPML account after updating the plugin and reducing the number of languages. Despite deleting some languages, the WPML WordPress admin panel still requests the same amount of credits as before.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps:
1. Navigate to Plugins → Add New and select the Commercial tab. Then, click on "Unregister WPML from this site". For more details, visit https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-remove-the-this-site-is-registered-on-wpml-org-as-a-development-site-notice/#what-if-the-notice-still-appears-after-moving-to-production.
2. After the page loads, click on "Register WPML" and follow the prompts to "Get a key for this site".
3. Complete the site key wizard in your WPML account and copy the new key. Paste the new key in the Commercial tab. Once done, you can delete the old site key from your WPML account.
4. Try to assign new credits by visiting https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-assign-automatic-translation-credits-to-your-sites/#assign-automatic-translation-credits.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
