This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to translate DIVI Body Templates into French because the text does not appear in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE). Additionally, when trying to manually translate by switching languages, the DIVI Builder hangs in the backend.

Solution:
1. We recommend checking if there are any widgets or page-builder modules that need to be recognized by WPML. You can follow these guides to register the necessary elements:

2. If you're searching for specific content in ATE, such as a link, it may not appear by default. Please refer to the following documentation for more information:
How to translate URLs, shortcodes, and HTML attributes using ATE.

3. If the DIVI Builder is hanging after switching languages, we advise you to test with only WPML and the DIVI Builder activated to identify any potential conflicts. Ensure you take a full backup of your site and database before proceeding with this step.

Hi,

I am currently trying to translate my DIVI Body Templates into French. However, the text that I need to translate does not appear in the Advanced Translate Editor. As a result, I am trying to switch to French using the language switcher and translating manually. Unfortunately, the DIVI Builder is hanging in the backend. It is worth noting that this method worked without issue a few weeks ago when I translated to English. Do you have an idea how I could solve this issue?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

...the text that I need to translate does not appear in the Advanced Translate Editor.

I believe this is because there's some widget or page-builder module which needs to be recognized by WPML. Please see following guides for details:

- https://wpml.org/documentation/support/maintaining-divi-builder-compatibility-wpml/

This is a common case among ever-evolving page builders. If you follow these guides, you'll be able to bring that content into ATE.

On the other hand I'll also suggest the following to search in the ATE for the desired content. For example, if it is a link it may not appear by default (https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-urls-shortcodes-and-html-attributes-using-the-advanced-translation-editor/).

For the other problem like page builder hanging after switching language, I'll advise to check with only WPML and Divi builder to see if nothing else is causing a conflict (in case if you prefer this method for translation). However, remember to take full backup of your site and database before trying this.

Please let me know and I'll try my best to help you further on the matter.

Regards.
