This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is translating a post from English to Spanish and is encountering issues with maintaining identical formatting. Specifically, the client wants to disable certain HTML tags like
<sup>
that are automatically applied in the translation.
Solution:
We recommend a workaround to trick the system into keeping the structure without the visual effects of the
<sup>
tag:
1. Remove the
<sup>
tag from the text.
2. Write a text or a character and add the
<sup>
tag to it in the translation editor.
3. Add a space inside the same tag.
4. Remove the character, leaving only the space, and save the segment.
This method allows the system to recognize the structure as being maintained (and keep the content as a translation and not a localization), without the unwanted visual effect of the tag.
