I get a warning on every translated page that my content will be lost.

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing a persistent warning when saving or creating translated pages using the classic WordPress editor instead of the WPML editor, despite having set preferences for using the classic editor. This issue started after updating to WPML version 4.7.4.
Solution:
1. Ensure that the WordPress editor is selected instead of the WPML editor from the edit page screen. For detailed guidance, visit Using Different Translation Editors for Different Pages.
2. Open the original content in the WordPress Editor and switch the translation method to "WordPress Editor". A dialog will appear allowing you to apply this setting to the current content, all contents of the same post type, or all site's contents.
3. Avoid making manual edits in the WordPress Editor in a second language while the WPML Translation Editor is set as the translation method, as it cannot recognize such edits and will overwrite them.

Jonathan	Background of the issue: I've been using WPML for over 10 years and I know my settings are correct. Since the last update, there's an annoying popup on creation and save on a translated page. I always use the classic editor and translate myself. Symptoms: I get a warning on every translated page that my content will be lost. It tells me that I am trying to use the classic editor instead of WPML editor. Questions: Why am I getting that warning? How can I get rid of the warning?

Jonathan	I do not have that option on the translated page. Only on the original. The original doesn't give me that warning only the translation In screenshots below, you can seee, in French(og lang) i get to chose but not in english

As you always translate from the original source language to the target languages the translation methods are only available on the original content inside the right sidebar of the WordPress Editor. You do receive a warning, as the "WPML Translation Editor" is set as the translation method for this content while you are trying to edit a translation on the WordPress Editor. Open the original content inside the WordPress Editor and switch the method to "WordPress Editor". A follow-up dialog will allow you to apply this setting to the current content, all contents of the same post type or all site's contents. Always avoid making manual edit on the WordPress Editor in a second language while the WPML Translation Editor is set as the translation method. The WPML Translation Editor can not recognize such edits and will overwrite them. Best regards Andreas

Jonathan	I did that, chose all content. I want to use the normal wordpress editor like it is set in my default language. It works fine in my default language, it just happens in the translations. It's the first time this happens in all the 100+ sites i've done with WPML. I never use wpml translation editor. But now it's as if i'm stuck with default language in wordpress editor and translation in WPML editor.

Jonathan	I'm changing the settings to use only the classir cordpress editor, but it keeps switching back to the Advanced. I got the same problem on 3 diffrent sites now, using Version 4.7.4

Jonathan	There seems to be a blocking setting somehow in 4.7.4, the editor i choose is ignored. I have deleted 4.7.4 and replaced it with 4.6.15, did all the setups. THEN i upgraded WPML to 4.7.4 and that seems to be the solution for now
