I haven't forgotten about you, I have already setup the site locally and I'm trying to recreate the problem so I can then help in finding a solution.

I'll let you know as soon as I have more info on the matter.

Hello,

Please watch this video: hidden link
in there i try to find the solution to the problem and it seems to work on my end so the steps should be as simple as:

- Change the slug of "revac AS" (homepage) to something like "revac-as-home" because you can't have the same slug for 2 different pages at the same time

- Edit the correct "revac AS" page in norwegian

- Under "languages" section make sure you click on the wordpress logo (edit with native editor) and select "this page" on the popup you'll be presented with

- Edit cornerstone in the norwegian version

- Make a change and save the changes
- Switch to the English version from cornerstone
- Make a small change somewhere and then save it again

This time the changes should be showing in the front-end.

Make sure to have the caches disabled if you can, only while you test this.

Hi again.

Sorry for my late delay.

I wonder if there has been a misunderstanding, because you sent me a video of you investigating the wrong page. Since I have trouble translating, this is; hidden link

Can you please take a look at this again?

Hope to hear from you again soon 🙂

Best Regards

I couldn't record the video last Friday, but I'll be able to check it out tomorrow.

However that other page I saw also had the same issue, no matter what I did it was never updated in the front-end.

Anyways, I'll be able to take a look at it and try to solve it tomorrow first thing in the morning.

Hello,

Try the following:

- Add a new section (a new one, not one from the classic section you have) and then add something like an "alert" element. save and then check the front-end. you'll see the changes.

- you can remove that section and you'll notice everything will go back to the "wrong layout" which is basically a clone of the original language.

The problem only happens when there are NO "new" elements but only classic elements which suggests the problem is within cornerstone and specifically within the CLASSIC elements of cornerstone, not WPML so if you can try to let them know about it to see if that's a known issue of themeco's.

You can see the test in action here: hidden link

Hi again.

Thanks for your reply.

I see now that if I make the changes you mention, they appear on the front page. It's very strange, because it works just fine with the other contact page. And it's built similarly with classic sections.

But then we have a solution. I have to set up the different elements again.

Many thanks for the help 🙂

Best Regards
