Background of the issue:
I need the old version of WPML Multilingual CMS. I was trying to import my own patterns after an update. They looked okay in the backend, but after saving and viewing on the frontend, the grids did not work anymore and everything was just pressed to the left side. I need a solution fast as my last backup is 12 working hours ago. On the link, you can see the same pattern. One was imported two days ago and the other, exactly the same, 1 hour ago. It can only be your update, as I did not update any other plugin. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
After updating, grids did not work on the frontend and everything was pressed to the left side.

Questions:
How can I revert to the old version of WPML Multilingual CMS?
Why are the grids not working on the frontend after the update?

While one of my teammates addresses your ticket, I will provide you with some initial debugging steps.

You can download the previous version by logging into your wpml.org account, navigating to the download section, and clicking on the info icon. Alternatively, you can use this link to view the change log directly: https://wpml.org/download/wpml-multilingual-cms/?section=changelog.

Could you please show us the issue with screenshots? Additionally, let us know how the grids were created.

Before making any changes, please ensure that you back up your database first.

Sorry, but it work for what every reason ONE TIME and when I imported templates again the problem continued.
I tried now a little.
In the moment it goes this way.
After it did not worked propery, and the page was saved of course,
I updated to Version 4.7.3 again.
Than I opened that page in the editor and clicked on View page right away, and the before saved not working page was fine. Than I imported a new pattern and it showed nice in the backend, but only the new added Pattern have had now colomne format anymore. Than I went to plugin and updated to the older version again, went back to that page and only clicked on view, and the page was fine.
again added a template pattern and the new one was missing format again.

So, I made some more tries.
I added a pattern Template again and after saving and opening it per view from the editor the format of the added one was wrong.
Than I went in the page overview and opened it from there to view and it still did not change, was still not good.
Than I updated the Version again, went to the page overview and clicked on view and the page looked good, like it should be.
So if you ask me, with importing the patterns something is conflicting with each other and it stop functioning, but an update solve this conflict until you import a pattern template again

So, I went back now. And the backup before I updated all WPML The status you can see on the screenshot thinks worked just fine. I also remember, that I have had problems with the update, because I could not activate OTGS Installer, which I still can not do.

Hello,

I apologize for the delay in responding. I will take care of this ticket; the reply time will be shorter now.

After importing the new pattern, did you translate it?

You don't need the Installer plugin to update WPML, you can do it by going to Plugins > Add new > Commercial tab.

Best Regards,
Otto
