Hello,

To answer your question we would need to know how the footer was created.

Are you using a Block Theme, any kind of Page Builder with Templates or is the Footer based on Widgets?

It would also be very helpful if you could send us the WPML debugging information.
More information here:
https://wpml.org/de/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Best regards
Andreas

I added the debug information to this ticket. As far as your other questions, the site is built using the Blocksy theme using the Gutenberg editor, along with the "Stackable - Gutenberg Blocks" plugin for added block options. The header and footer is built using the Blocksy customization options, not on widgets. Hopefully this helps. Let me know if you need me to send you screenshots of anything or any other info. Thanks.

Hello,

If the header and footer are set within Appearance > Customizer, then those are considered admin text strings. To find these strings, please follow the steps outlined here (https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#register-admin-and-setting-strings-for-translation). Once you've located them, add them to String Translation. After that, they should appear in WPML > String Translation, and you will be able to translate them from there.

I hope you find this information helpful.

Please let me know how it goes.

Mihai

The documentation you provided did not help me. Step 2 deviated from what is being displayed in WPML -> String Translation. I need you to provide me with the step by step instructions to resolve my issue. Please don't just send me a link to documentation. I've looked at all the documentation and could not resolve the issue on my own. That's why I opened a ticket.

Hi there, and welcome back!

1. I am more than happy to take a closer look if you can provide site access (I activated private fields for your next reply - please share the site credentials only after you create a whole website backup).

2. Can you also please share the URL of the area where you added the footer content so I can quickly find it in the backend?

I will be waiting for your response.

Thank you.
