I need to enable automatic trsnaltions for two fields of my CPT (CPT called Listings) - all fields (I mean ACFs) should remain untranslated, but a Title, and a Description (the default WordPress content) should be translated to Polish and English language. Is it possible? Currently this CPT is set up as translatable (the option: Translatable - use translation if available or fallback to default language).

In fact if that is possible I could us a function to put (in this case) Polish string to the function and the function would return Endlighs translation fo these two fields.

Hello,

Let me rephrase the issue:
You have a custom post type with some ACF fields. You want WPML to automatically translate only the Listing Title and the main WordPress content (Description) into Polish and English, while all ACF fields remain untranslated.

So, you basically need to exclude the ACF fields from the translation.

I think the AI bot suggestion was in the right direction:

❌ Please make a full website backup before proceeding ❌

Configure WPML so only Title + main Content are translatable, ACF fields are not

- Go to WPML → Settings → Post Types Translation and confirm Listings is set to Translatable.
- In WPML → Settings → Custom Fields Translation, set the ACF fields for Listings to Don’t translate (or Copy if you want identical values across languages).
- Edit one Listing in the default language, make a tiny change, and save (to refresh translation jobs if needed).
- Send the Listing to translation (Translation Dashboard or the language box “+”) and run automatic translation in ATE for the Title + Content only.

Here you have detailed documentation about the translation options of ACF fields:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/

If you need “Translate Everything Automatically”:
- Right now, your Listings CPT is set to “Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language.”
- If your goal is fully automatic translation flows, change it to “Translatable – only show translated items”.
- Then enable Translate Everything Automatically (if that’s your desired workflow) and test with a few Listings first.

Check this documentation about automatic translation:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/translate-everything-automatically/

I don't see the weak points you mentioned. Can you please elaborate on them so I can provide a better solution?

Best Regards,
Otto

To ensure the quickest and most accurate support, please provide your debug information so I can look at some of your configurations. We have an excellent article on how to locate it here: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/.
