I created and translated this website for my client hidden link. Now I want to invite them to take over the license so that this website is removed from my account. Just like the other websites in the account.

However, I think I did something wrong by adding it as a live website instead of a website in development. Can you help me get this right?

The intention is to be just like the other websites in my account.

Thank you for reaching out!

As of 13 January 2026, it’s not possible to transfer renewals to your clients. Transfers done before that date will continue working for existing end users. If your client wants to take over a site you’ve built for them, they should purchase a WPML subscription and re-register the site.
