I am trying to: On translated page of web I have a post hidden link with image. I want this image link to media file, but everytime I saved the post with this settings image automatically change link to custom URL with dimension 300x200 px. Media was translated without problem. Even if I upload image into en mutation of web I can't link image to media file.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:hidden link

I expected to see: hidden link

If you try click on image on cz version of web you see bigger image in lightbox. That's what I want on en version too.

Hello,

1) Please update all WPML plugins to the latest version by going to the Plugins → Add New page, click the Commercial tab, and then click Check for updates.

2) How and where are you adding this image in the default language?

3) Does the issue still happen if you are using WP default theme and only WPML plugins enabled?

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Drazen

Hello,

thanks for getting back.

Please make a full backup of your site (files and database) and confirm it in your next reply.
If possible please provide access to the staging website, not production.

Please note, that I might need to do some debugging procedures like enable/disable plugins, switch themes, change the default language of the user account, and/or access your website database to debug the issue furtherly.

I will share with you any changes or steps done in this process. Please let me know if you do not agree with the above or if I do not have your permission for any.

I would need to access both your site's wp-admin and FTP account, if possible.

I have enabled the private username and password fields in your next reply.

I suggest you create a new user, set it as an administrator and then add those credentials in the private fields mentioned.

You can safely add your information into these fields.

Regards,
Drazen

Thanks for reply. Sorry I can't give you access to our FTP or administration because of our company policy.

But I find one thing. Images don't work when post is link to language original. If I disconnect post with translations, everything works fine.

I tried it here hidden link
And this is connected post to original language translation hidden link

Hello,

I am afraid then it would be very difficult for us to suggest anything or help as we need to check the environment and issue further.

What I can suggest is creating a staging site and checking if issue happens when using WP default theme and only WPML plugins enabled, to see if issue still happens and is maybe caused by some other plugin / code.

Regards,
Drazen
