This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The images of translated products are not displaying
Solution:
The issue was resolved with the following steps:
1. Create a full backup
2. Go to WPML > Settings > Media Translation
3. Make sure the following options are checked:
- Translate existing media in all languages
- Duplicate existing media for translated content
- Duplicate the featured images for translated content
4. Click " Start"
5. Wait for the process to finish then check again
