I use Restrict Content Pro to control access to pages on my site or to elements within pages. I believe the two integrate ok when shortcodes are used to control access within a page, but I am having a problem. RCP allows you to restrict access to entire pages using a special interface that comes up at the bottom of my page editor screen. These settings do not propagate to translated pages created by WPML. I have had to give up on controlling this type of access if I want to offer translations of my pages. I frankly do not know if the issue is on the RCP side or the WPML side or both.

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support. I will try my best to assist you in this matter.

I understood what you're looking for. It seems that the settings located at the bottom of the default editor are not being replicated on the translated page or post. As a result, the rules specified in these settings are not being applied to the translations.

In order to solve the issue, you need to set the translation preference for the settings field to copy and update that translation. Please follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.

- Please go to "WPML > Settings" and scroll down to the "Custom field translation" section
- Enter 'rcp' in the search box
- If you found some fields in the result, set the translation preference of those fields to "Copy" and save the changes.
- Now, open the default page in the WordPress editor and make a small change in the title.
- Save the changes and update the translation as well by clicking on the update icon(Screenshot: hidden link).

I hope it will help. However, please note that we currently don't have compatibility details for this plugin in our directory. If you want, you can reach out to the support team of restrict contents PRO plugin and discuss this matter. You can also request them to join the Go-Global program of WPML and make the plugin compatible. More info about the Program is available here: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/

Let me know if there is anything else you need help with. I will be happy to assist you.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit
