Hello There, I understand what you're looking for and will try my best to assist you in this matter. Please note that the WPML plugin is fully compatible with Multisite configurations. You have the flexibility to use WPML across the entire network or on specific subsites. Moreover, each subsite can be configured with its own languages and translation settings. To understand how you can make the WPML plugin work in your Multisite environment, kindly check this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/multisite-support/ Please be informed that upon activating WPML within your network, it is necessary to set up WPML separately for each subsite if you want to use it on your subsites. The provided documentation should help clarify many aspects, but should you require further assistance, do not hesitate to contact me. I'm here to assist you. Best regards, |

Hello There, I've reviewed the link you provided and understand the situation. The root of the issue lies in the site's default language being English, leading to "storykeeper.com/es" displaying the English content. Since Spanish is set as a secondary language, its language code is appended after the base URL(storykeeper.com/es/) of the site, resulting in "storykeeper.com/es/es". To have the Spanish content displayed directly at "storykeeper.com/es", you can set Spanish as the site's default language. This can be done through WPML > Languages by selecting the "Change default language" option. Once Spanish is established as the default, navigating to "storykeeper.com/es/" will show Spanish content, and English content will be available at "storykeeper.com/es/en". For a more comprehensive guide, you might find this resource helpful:https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/ I hope you can understand. Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance or clarification in this matter. I will be happy to help. Best regards, |

Hello There, 1) Since WordPress is installed in the "es" directory, the base URL of the site is currently set to "storykeeper.com/es/". Therefore, if you have a secondary language enabled and the Language URL format in "WPML > Languages" is set to "Different directory per language", it is expected to see the language code after the base URL of the site. This is why the URL for the English version of the site appears as "storykeeper.com/es/en". Now, If you want to disable the English language entirely, you can either hide the language by following the guide below or Remove the English language by going to "WPML > Languages > Add or Remove Language" However, if you have a different requirement, please provide more details in your next message so I can offer a targeted recommendation to meet your needs. 2) Menu translation: If your menu includes pages that have been translated, the menu will automatically display translated in other languages without needing to translate the menu itself. However, if you want different titles for the menu items in other languages, you can translate and create a new menu for each language from scratch. The guide below will assist you in understanding how to translate and create a new menu for different languages. Please let me know if the information above helps in addressing your queries or need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help. [To ensure clarity and organization in our discussions, we are allowed to discuss one issue per thread. Given that you've mentioned two issues in this thread, please select the topic you'd like to continue discussing here. For the other matter, kindly open a new ticket, and we'll be more than happy to assist you with that.] Best regards, |

Hello There, 1) To change the language displayed in the WordPress Admin interface, navigate to "User > Profile" within your WordPress Dashboard and adjust the Language setting according to your preference. This will enable the Admin interface to be presented in English or any other selected language. 2) To prevent changes to the Admin interface language, ensure the "Editing Language option" in the Profile setting is disabled. This option is located within "WPML language settings" under "User > Profile." Disabling it will maintain the current language setting (See screenshot: hidden link). Please let me know if the above information helped or if there is anything else if you need help with. I will be happy to assist. Best regards, |

Also we have two sections where book covers are pulled from the main image of a product and shown. After we use the translate function the book covers appear to disappear. storykeeper.com/es (Translated site) storykeeper.com (Original site) storykeeper.com/de (Site that has not yet been translated for your reference) New threads created by Prosenjit Barman and linked to this one are listed below: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/split-products-are-not-visible-in-translated-version/ |
