This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with WPForms Multilingual where attachments are removed from notification emails, it might be due to a conflict with another plugin or theme.
Solution:
We recommend trying the following steps to identify and resolve the issue:
1) Create a copy or staging site for testing.
2) Disable all plugins except WPForms and test if the problem persists.
3) If the issue remains, switch to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-One to check if the theme is causing the conflict.
4) If the problem still isn't resolved, begin reactivating plugins one by one or in small groups to pinpoint the problematic plugin.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If necessary, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Hi,

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the site to investigate the issue further.

The required fields are below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.

IMPORTANT
Please be sure to back up the site and database before granting us access.

If you can't see the "wp-admin / FTP" fields, your post and site login details will be set to "PUBLIC". DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.

I may need to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" here to create a copy of the site that I can use to investigate the issue further.

However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or copy of the website from your server for this purpose.

If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider. Please note that WPML must also be registered on this staging site at https://wpml.org/de/account/websites/.

If you are not able to provide such a copy of the website for testing, please let me know on this ticket.

The private reply form looks like this:

Please note that we are obliged to request this information individually on each ticket. We are not allowed to access any credentials that were not specifically submitted on this ticket in the private response form.

Best regards
Andreas

I am really not sure what went wrong at this point, but on your site, currenctly I can not set any new fields, even if I disable WPML.

This means, the issue must be casued by something else.

It's kinda getting worse. :/

Also, let me remind you that this site was in production.
So I switched the plugin back to Activated.
I also switched back to 0.3.6 iso 0.4.0.

I tried to save but now, only one Attatchement is saved, i was working before with your work around.

Should I roll back to a previous backup ?

It seems there were a couple of issues, one was solved with our workaround, and then there was another issue, that was solved after updating WPForms.

In fact, we can currently not confirm any issue on your site.

It is not possible to add fields to the form settings even if WPML is disabled and this means that this seems to be an issue with WPForms and another plugin.

I suggest you contact the WPForms Support about this.

I suggest you run the following test first:

Create a copy/stage of the site and try running the site with minimal setup to see if the problem persists:

1) Disable any additional plugins apart from WP Forms. Now, test again.

2) If this didn't resolve the issue, please switch to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-One to see if the issue might be related to the theme.

3) If this still does not clarify what is causing the issue, start reactivating the plugins one by one or activate them in small groups. Do this to check where the problem is reoccurring to see which plugin is causing the problem.

This ticket is now closed. If you're a WPML client and need related help, please open a new support ticket.
