Background of the issue:
Hi,

I have a problem on the website foxclubprague.com.

I created profiles of girls and details of massages, and translated them into English. By mistake, I duplicated images for the translations. So, I manually deleted the duplicates and reassigned the images, and I followed the instructions to set up images to load from a single source. However, the changes did not take effect. Instead, the images on the primary language are displayed only on a few profiles, and as for the English version, the images are not displayed correctly at all.

The profiles and massage details were created using ACF.

Can you help me or give me some advice? I have gone through many guides, tried almost everything, and I am at a loss.

Thank you for your help.

Symptoms:
The images are loading incorrectly on some profiles in the Czech version and incorrectly in the English version. As for the images in the massage category, they are not loading at all in either translation.

Questions:
Can you help me please?

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I’m happy to help you with this issue.

The images are duplicated into the second language, it is a standard behavior. If you want to have different images per language, you can use the plugin WPML Media Translation. Please follow the documentation https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/media-translation/

Regarding the images are not displayed in the English language, I suggest you follow steps below and see if it helps:

1. Go to WPML > Settings > Media Translation section > Enable options:
- Translate existing media in all languages
- Duplicate existing media for translated content
- Duplicate the featured images for translated content

- When uploading media to the Media library, make it available in all languages
- Duplicate media attachments for translations
- Duplicate featured images for translations

2. Edit the post > Remove the image and add it again to the ACF custom field > Save > Update the translation.
Note: according to the debug log, I see you're using the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) to translate content. Please update the translation via ATE, don't edit the translation post manually on your site and add the image.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks

Hi,

I'm afraid that we only support via forum ticket or chat session. Please share a screen record of the issue then I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. Your next reply is set to private to share the info.

❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌
You can use this plugin to create the backup: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme to change configurations on the site if needed. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks
