WordPress 6.7 has introduced a new issue that impact translations, please update WooCommerce and WPML to the latest versions before you report issues. More about this here - https://wpml.org/errata/php-error-wp-6-7-notice-function-_load_textdomain_just_in_time-was-called/
Background of the issue:
I am experiencing an issue with the WPML plugin on my site hidden link. The plugin cannot connect to wpml.org for version and security updates. I have checked my server firewall settings and reviewed my security plugins.
Symptoms:
The message 'WPML plugin cannot connect to wpml.org' appears, indicating network or security settings might be preventing communication.
Questions:
Could you please assist me in resolving this connectivity issue?
Could you please consider improving the ease of accessing your support?
First, you must update your WPML plugin and add-ons to the latest version, 4.6.14, to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements. This may not necessarily resolve your problem; however, we need to work on the latest code to troubleshoot the issue best.
You can check the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions to update can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/
If you do not see the updates, you might need to click the Check for updates button in the Plugins → Add New Plugin → Commercial tab.
Then, you need to check if one of the plugins on your installation does not affect this. I suggest temporarily deactivating all plugins except WPML and testing it.
If still the issue, please try these steps:
1. Go to Plugins → Add New and click the Commercial tab. Click Unregister WPML from this site.
2. Once the page loads, click on Register WPML. A message asking you to enter the site key will appear. Click on Get a key for this site.
3. In your WPML account, complete the site key wizard and set it to Production site.
4. Copy your new key and paste it in the Commercial tab. When done, you can delete your old site key in the WPML account.
Please remember to backup your database before you proceed.
