This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where the language switcher is not appearing after deleting some old pages and approving translations. The client is also unsure how to translate the Home page using the OnePress theme.
Solution:
We recommend checking if the translated version of the Home page exists and is published. This can be done by editing the Home page in the default language, then using the language switcher in the top admin bar to switch to the secondary language. Verify if the page is published or translated. Once the page is published, the language switcher should appear allowing you to switch between languages.
If this solution does not seem relevant to your issue, please open a new support ticket with us.

Tell us what you are trying to do? After deleting some old pages, and approving the remaining translations, and ensuring the English menu is translated into French, the language switcher no longer shows up.
Also, in looking at current pages, I have my Home English page (using OnePress theme), and the testimonials page. There is no translation for the Home French page, as I'm presuming that should be done through OnePress customization?

Is there any documentation that you are following? I've tried searching through help desk as well as asking others who have used WPML.

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Hi there,

Thanks for contacting WPML support.

Could you please check the translated page and see if it exists? Or published? You check by editing the homepage, then, on the top admin bar in the backend, use the language switch to switch to your secondary language.

Then, check and see if the page is published or translated. Once published, you will be able to switch to another language using the language switcher.

Could you check and let me know?
