Background of the issue:
I am trying to use WPML to translate the homepage on my new site. I have successfully used WPML on a different website without any issues. I added a translation of the homepage using the (+) icon from the pages overview and while editing the page. I used the Advanced Translation Editor to complete the translation. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
Despite receiving confirmation that the translation was completed, when I attempt to open the translated page, I receive a message stating that the page does not exist. Upon returning to the pages overview, I find that the translation has not been saved and I need to add it again. This process has been repeated multiple times with the same result.

Questions:
Why is the translation not being saved?
How can I resolve the issue of the translated page not existing?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML support team,

For more information on this problem, please refer to the following steps:

1- Page in draft or Trash
Please ensure that there is no copy of this page in any language in the Draft or Trash.

2- Duplicate and other pages
Does the issue persist if you make another copy of the homepage and translate that copy? Does it happen to all pages? This will help us know if the issue is specific to the page or a bit general.

3- Check error logs:
Check ATE logs WPML > Support > Advanced Translation Editor > Error Logs to view logs, please send a copy if you see an error.

4- Check API connection
From WPML > Support > Instll Support > Click this button: https: //prnt.sc/CIi-ET9Paos9
Check that the green checks at the top are displayed and that there are no errors in the logs.

5- Empty the translation queue and resend translations
Go to WPML > Support > troubleshooting and try all the following buttons:
