[Resolved] Latest versions of WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation producing an issue in the edit ...
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are using the latest versions of WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation on a WordPress site with the Porto theme and WooCommerce. When manually adding products on the edit order page and clicking Recalculate, the products disappear. This issue does not occur with older versions of these plugins. Solution: We recommend checking the following errata page for a known issue that matches your description: https://wpml.org/errata/b2b-for-woocommerce-product-removed-when-adding-items-to-existing-order/. A permanent fix is expected in the next release of WCML. If you are considering rolling back to previous versions of the plugins on your live site, it is generally safe, but ensure you test thoroughly on a staging environment first.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If issues persist, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to use the latest versions of WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation on a WordPress 6.8 site with the Porto 7.4.6 theme. Relevant plugins installed include WooCommerce 9.8.1, WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency 5.4.4, WPML Multilingual CMS 4.7.3, WPML SEO 2.1.1, and WPML String Translation 3.3.2. All tests were conducted on a staging site.
Symptoms:
When the latest versions of WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation are installed, manually added products on the edit order page disappear after clicking Recalculate. This issue does not occur with versions 4.6.15 and 3.2.18 of these plugins.
Questions:
Is there a bug with the latest versions of WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation?
Is it safe to rollback these two plugins on the live site?
I'm not sure i quiet follow you. In the staging environment i have provided for you the issue persist even when changing themes.
I have made several test with the other plugins and standard themes and it's not workin, when the newest version of the WPML plugin is active. The previous version of the plugin however doesn't produce this is issue.
I'm going to roll back the plugin to the previous version for now, until you have something concrete for me.

Just to clarify—at this stage, I only need you to confirm whether the issue also happens on the Sandbox I shared: hidden link
This step is important because it determines how we proceed:
- If the issue also occurs on the Sandbox, then it’s likely a genuine bug, and I’ll escalate it internally as is to our developers.
- If the issue only happens on your site, then I’ll need a Duplicator package from your staging environment, so our 2nd tier can dig into it and debug locally.
Let me know what you find when testing on the Sandbox!
I have now tried it in Sandbox and the issue is not happening there. I already have a staging site of the website that's looking just like the live site, the only difference is the version of the wmpl plugin.

Thanks for the update and the test. Since the issue doesn’t occur in Sandbox but does on your live/staging site, testing directly on your staging environment would be very helpful.

The issue would be visible on hidden link?
Can I update WPML on hidden link, disable all the plugins and activate WordPress default theme?
Because that's what I did on my localhost instance and the issue is not there, as visible on my video, so I suspect there may be some caching involved.
Ahh i see and i just tried on the staging site with all plugins deactivated and i think i have the error, however i still have no clue to why it's happening.
The conflict is between the new WPML plugin and another plugin called "B2B for WooCommerce" by addify.
Actually i wrote to them a couple of weeks ago because i thought i had located the problem to their plugin, because when i their b2b plugin off, the recalculate function on admin order creation worked just fine and this was with your plugin still being active.
However it's the same case with your WPML plugin. When the b2b plugin is left active and the WPML plugin is turned off, the function is also working.
I hope it makes sense, otherwise please let me know and i'll create a loom video for you.
And i'm not a php or javascript expert but i have a feeling that it has something to do with how the tax is calculated and called with both plugins being active at the same time.
I have just recorded a loom for you showing the problem, which i'm able to replicate on hidden link.
