This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing issues with link texts not being translated when using WPML.
Solution:
We recommended changing the Custom Links to normal page links by navigating to Appearance >> Menus > Top bar right. After making this change, we advised syncing the menus from the WPML >> WP Menu Sync page. This action should display the correct translations for the link texts.

If you're experiencing a similar issue, we recommend you try the steps we provided. However, please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. When I switch to Japanese, the text still appears in English without translation.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I’ve visited your site and I can see that the top menu that have custom links are not translated. Could you please make sure you have translated the menu by following this particular section from this doc: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/#translating-custom-links-after-wp-menus-sync

If the issue persists, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue.

Your next answer will be private which means only you and I have access to it.

=== Please backup your database and website ===

✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important.

Thank you

Thanks for sharing the login details. I’ve changed the Custom Links to normal pages links from Appearance >> Menus > Top bar right and Sync it from WPML >> WP Menu Sync page and now it seems to be show the correct translation as you can see in the attached screenshot. Could you please check and confirm?

Thank you
