Problem:
The client wanted to translate deteckelshop.nl to derdackelshop.de but faced issues with incorrect domain setup notifications. The domain derdackelshop.de was not pointing to the correct IP address and was opening a different WordPress installation instead of redirecting to deteckelshop.nl.
Solution:
1. We verified that the IP address for derdackelshop.de was incorrect. It needed to point to the same IP as deteckelshop.nl, which is 185.104.29.94. We provided links to check the DNS settings: https://dnschecker.org/#A/deteckelshop.nl and https://dnschecker.org/#A/derdackelshop.de.
2. We advised the client to ensure that derdackelshop.de does not redirect to a different WordPress installation and instead points to the same installation as deteckelshop.nl.
3. We recommended removing any additional WordPress installations on the server for derdackelshop.de and ensuring no redirections were set up for this domain.
4. After adjustments, we asked the client to wait for server cache clearance.
5. Finally, the domain setup was corrected, but an SSL error occurred. We suggested the client contact their domain provider to resolve the SSL issue.
