I'm sorry, but at this point, I cannot proceed with the investigation on your site.
I deactivated all the plugins except WPML and its add-ons, WooCommerce, PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce + Professional, WP Mail Logging, and WooCommerce Subscriptions. But when I go to the checkout page hidden link, I'm being redirected to your production site to hidden link with no products in the cart. I could not proceed with the purchase of the test product and the investigation of the issue.
I think that your custom theme acaris-theme is the culprit. Especially, please see the message in the WordPress admin (number 2 in my screenshot).
Your theme (acaris-theme) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:
Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version.
If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.
Please update the templates in your theme and ensure the strings are ready for multilingual use, as explained in the guide I sent you before.
Hey, sorry for my late answer.
I wasn't able to work on this matter last week.
I will try to update the theme... Since it's our own theme there is no update.
We will try to update the templates and get back to you.
By the way: Do you know the reason why these pages redirect to our mainpage? It's the same thing on the account-settings page and I didn't find the reason yet. Maybe you have a clue?
I will check the templates, thank you for the investigation so far!
Hello, it's me again.
I will try to get rid of the redirection tomorrow.
I already updated woocommerce, woocommerce subscriptions and also compared our template with the newest version available on github.
We still have the issue that the translate button is not showing, not like in the templates which are working.
We will get back to you tomorrow, once we have fixed the redirect bug.
I think I have found the reason for the redirection. But I won't be able to test and fix that til tomorrow.
It's because the testing site is a complete copy of the main site, so is the database.
The database of woocommerce contains strings with the url of the page, since it's a complete copy it will contain "acaris.net" instead of our testing site's IP.
Just to let you know, for future issues. 🙂
