This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to make the WP Bakery 'read more' button multilingual, but it is not displayed in the translatable item list while using the The7 theme.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps:
1. Navigate to WPML > String Translation.
2. Search for the 'read more' button text.
3. If the text appears in the results, add the translation by clicking the '+' icon.
4. Clear the caches from your site and browser, then check again.
If the button text still does not appear, it's possible that the Button module used does not support translation. Please check if the Button module is part of the default Visual Composer page builder or if it belongs to the The7 theme. This information will help us provide further assistance.

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand what you're looking for. Could you please check if the button text can be translated from the String Translation section?

- Please go to WPML > String Translation
- Search for the Button text
- If that text appears in the result, add the translation by clicking the "+" icon.
- Clear the caches from your site and browser then check again.

If the issue persists, it’s possible that the Button module you’ve used doesn’t have the necessary translation support, which might be causing the problem. Could you please let me know if the Button module is part of the default Visual Composer page builder or if it belongs to the The7 theme? Based on that, I will suggest you what to do next.

Let me know the update and I'll be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Believe it or not you helped me by directing me to look more carefully at the string translation page. Thanks.
