Hi,
It seems that the plugin and your theme caused the issue together because the images appear correctly when using the WordPress default theme. (hidden link)

Hi Osama,
Thanks for finding out, I just dont get it, how is that possible? There is no caching on the staging site.
How are we still able to fix it?

Hi,
I activated your theme, and the issue didn't happen, so I think it might be a caching issue or a corrupted database record. (hidden link)

Strange! Can you let me know what we can do best on the live site to see how we can fix it?

Hi,
Please try the following:
1- Deactivate the WooThumbs plugin
2- Activate the Twenty Twenty-One theme
3- Go to WPML-> Media Translation
4- Delete the translations and click Scan and Replace
5- Re-translate the images and click Scan and Replace
6- Check the product on the front end
If everything works correctly, activate the WooThumbs plugin and check the front end.
The last step is to activate the Astra theme and check the issue.
Best regards,
Osama

Hey Osama,
I followed all the steps you asked. The English pictures keep showing up, until step:
-> If everything works correctly, activate the Woo Thumbs plugin and check the front end.
I activate the Woo Thumbs plugin. Then Dutch images are showing up again.
Even before I activated my theme back again
I dont know what to

Hi,
Please compare the WooThumbs settings in your live and staging sites to check for differences.

There was a clearing caching option within the WooThumb plugin, and now it's working!
Thanks, Osama, for your help, I really appreciate it.
One last thing, I was wondering if you can help me (since we already have the staging site) with the last problem that we are having regarding translated reviews.
Problem: We already translated the review strings into English, but still the reviews are not showing on product single pages, see here:

I really hope you can help me out!

Hi,
We try to keep one issue per ticket in our forum. Continuing with one ticket per issue helps supporters focus on one issue at once and enables other users to find solutions to their questions faster.
Therefore, I've split the other issue and created a new ticket with this issue.
Best regards,
Osama

Hi Osama,
When uploading a translated picture, is this only possible by uploading a new picture in the WPML > media translation section?
Is it also possible to replace it with an excisting url from media library itself?
Because with woothumbs we connected a vimeo video to a certain picture to add a video in the product gallery. However now we have a dutch video both on the .nl as .com
We need a different language video on the .com
See for yourself:

Hi,
Yes, it's only possible through the Media Translation screen.
Please replicate the issue on the staging site, so I can check it. (hidden link)

Hi,
Thanks for the video. I tried some workarounds, but I wasn't able to translate the video URL.
I changed the URL in the English version of the image, but on the front end, the Dutch video is played in both languages.
Please replicate the issue on the previously provided sandbox site, and I'll consult our compatibility team.
Best regards,
Osama
