I did manage to get it resolved with a help of divi support team. But I still have an issue with mobile menu, the drop down list doesn't show when you click on the language switcher. It works on desktop but on mobile I can only see the second language. Any idea how this could be fixed?

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thanks for your patience.

I've applied some custom CSS code and it should allow you to scroll the menu on mobile. Then, this should allow you to select another language.

Hi Kor, thank you but unfortunately, now the menu gets cut in weird place. It doesn't show full but on half of the screen and you don't even see the rest of the menu options unless you scroll down (which not everyone is going to figure out because even I had a problem to find the rest of the menu). Also menu items when opened are cut in a weird spot and you need to scroll even though there is a lot of free space on the screen. Please see the attachment

Thank you for getting back to me.

You can remove the custom CSS code displayed in the attached screenshot via WP > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and it will revert the changes.

Regarding the menu, as it's created using the "Quadmenu" plugin, I recommend reaching out to the plugin author to explore potential solutions. It appears that the plugin may not be optimized for mobile devices and could benefit from improvement.

Previously, I made some customization attempts to assist in resolving the issue. Please keep me updated on your progress.

Ok, but the menu worked ok before adding the language switcher and your CSS so not sure if we can blame the quadmenu for that.

Hi, yes now it seems to be working perfectly! Thank you so much! Would you be able to tell me what you did and if it is CSS would you mind putting it here as well so in case I need to do something I can remove it or change etc. I will be also using WPML on my .com website so it may be useful for that webiste as well. Thank you!

Thanks for your reply.

Glad that worked for you. I've used the custom CSS code below to fix it.

@media only screen and (max-width: 600px) {
  .wpml-fix ul.quadmenu-navbar-nav {overflow-x:scroll!important;height:800px!important}

}

Brilliant, thank you. I just run into another issue. I was translating my menu and everything was going ok until one moment something happened and my menu stopped working properly in the translated language. You can see here hidden link it is working ok but when you change to spanish this is what happens; hidden link the language switcher is all over the place and only ''tienda'' and ''nosotros work ok'' everything else started to show without dropdown, higher, bold. No idea what happened. I deleted those menu items and troed to add again but the same keeps happening in the spanish version. The first two seem to act normal. Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks for your reply.

It looks like the Quad Menu is breaking the WPML Language switcher. We apologize for the inconvenience, but in order to proceed with troubleshooting, we kindly request a site snapshot. Alternatively, with your permission, we can create a snapshot on our own.

For this purpose, we typically recommend using the free plugin "Duplicator." If you are already familiar with how Duplicator works ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), please skip the following steps and simply send me the archive file you downloaded.

To assist you further, please follow these instructions:
Watch the Duplicator instructions video: hidden link

Refer to the instructions provided by WPML on how to provide supporters a copy of your site: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/

If the archive file exceeds 400MB in size, please utilize Duplicator's file filters to exclude the cache, wp-uploads directory, media, and archive files.

Once you have the archive file, please share the link with us. You can use services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar platforms as the snapshot file will likely be large.

Please note that your next reply will be private, visible only to you and me. You can paste the link to the file there. Rest assured that once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local site.
