Hi there!

This is Paola and I will continue with the ticket as Itamar is on holiday.

I see that the error are related to the database.

Do you give me permission to install the plugin Adminer so I can access the database to check if the tables configuration are ok?

Hello Paola,

Can I just give you the database credentials instead?

Any way you can give us to access the database is ok. the permission Paola asked doesn't require any other action from you other than "consenting" to it.

Regards.

Hello i accessed the site and also checked the past replies you had with our colleagues.

1) In the debug log, literally 90% of the messages were all related to database issues, none of them regarding WPML (they were just problems with database connecting to the server, basically, deadlock issues and they were happening with WordPress routine tasks like deleting transients, etc.), i'm not sure why would the host say that most of the issues were about WPML.

2) As my colleague pointed out there were only 4 out of more than 20 different errors (Again communication errors with the database mostly) that had to do with WPML and they were all duplicated entries in the database, so technically they are not really "errors" but notifications. These entries can be duplicated only when there are errors in the database, but among other things, for similar deadlock errors as the ones shown in your log. they could happen if a query was in progress, it was locked at the wrong moment and tried again later successfully.

They all happened on "m2baitandtackle.com" which as i understand was where the site originally was, before any migration.

3) If these elements were products, then they would not appeared as translated and all you had to do, given that you have used the Advanced Translation Editor to translate the content, was to delete the duplicates and translate the products again. the translation should appear as complete, unless you had made any change to the product's content and in that case only the changed content would appear without any translation.

4) I checked your products, you have 907 and they seem to be correctly translated so at this point what issue are you still experiencing? if a product is having issues or you have any other error somewhere, can you please let me know how to get to it, how to recreate it so i can investigate further?

Finally a coherent answer. Thanks Alejandro.

The issue was that after a migration the translations disappeared and products, pages and posts were duplicated 5 times, meaning each post had 1 original and 5 copies. During the time period of this ticket we started translating the products again on our own initiative.

Your answer in regards to the error log provides us even more insight into what's wrong on the site and has helped us now to resolve a lot of issues.

In conclusion: if your answer was the first answer on this thread. This thread would've been closed immediately.

Have a great day.
