This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was trying to create a standalone Spanish landing page on their English website using Elementor. After publishing the Spanish page, the entire website's frontend layout changed unexpectedly, affecting the homepage and other English pages. Elementor templates were replaced by old versions, and pages began displaying outdated drafts or broken layouts.
Solution:
We recommended the client to provide a video link describing step-by-step how to reproduce the issue on the site. Additionally, we asked for the debug information of the site as per our guide, which can be found here: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you still need assistance, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I was trying to create a standalone Spanish landing page for marketing purposes on my English website (hidden link). The page was built using Elementor and is located at hidden link. I did not intend to make the entire site multilingual.

Symptoms:
After publishing the Spanish page, the entire website's frontend layout, including the homepage and other English pages, changed unexpectedly. Elementor templates were replaced by old versions, and pages began displaying outdated drafts or broken layouts.

Questions:
If I only want to build one standalone Spanish page — not translate the whole site — how can I prevent WPML from modifying my existing website structure?
How can I ensure that Elementor templates (Header, Footer, etc.) work across all language versions, even without translating them individually?
How do I stop WPML from automatically generating translation drafts or interfering with the current layout and logic of my pages?

Thanks.
